e-SupplyLink Introduces ComplyLink 6.8

The latest version of ComplyLink includes several new, easy to use enhancements. These new features were designed to improve label printing, creating shipments, and packing using Standard Pack.

Included in 6.8:
·Default Values for Shipment Creation
·Print to File Label Printing
·Container Assigned by Trading Partner

These new features decrease data entry even more, saving time and reducing errors. Printing time for large amounts of labels is also decreased significantly using the Print to File feature.

Default Values for Shipment Creation
Using the Trading Partner Editor, default values can now be assigned for shipments. Each individual trading partner is able to have its own default values entered for shipment creation. This data will only need to be entered one time and will then be used for all future shipments.
When creating a new shipment, the default values for the specific trading partner will be automatically entered into the shipment editor. Settings to Use Today's Date and to Generate Vics BOL are also options as default settings.

After the Default Settings are entered, it is also possible to create shipments from the packing list screen using the default settings. This dramatically cuts down on the time and data entry involved in creating large numbers of shipments.

Print to File Label Printing
This new feature is available for Standard Pack Carton packing and will be a time saver for users that create a large number of carton labels at one time. Printing the labels to a file cuts down on the time waiting for the printer, ComplyLink, and Codesoft to process and print labels. Instead, the data for the labels is saved into a file. The file is then opened using only Codesoft, and the labels are created very quickly.
Container Assigned by Trading Partner
If there are trading partners that ship the same item differently, ComplyLink can now assign a specific carton for each separate trading partner. Wal-Mart orders item X in 12 packs and K-mart orders item X in 24 packs? Now ComplyLink can assign the 12 Pack container for Wal-Mart and the 24 Pack container for K-mart when a packing list is created. Manual adjustments to the order or the packing list are no longer needed.
